Procedures at PEIFG Courses for 2021

Tee Times Reservations

  • Tee times can be reserved over the phone (1-800-235-8909), at the golf shop or online. No golfers will be permitted on the course without a tee time at any point in the day. Our first tee time is the first time of the day, no play will be permitted before we open.
  • If you reserve a tee time for less than four people we have the right to add people to that tee time and will do so to make best use of the tee sheet.
  • We are accepting tee times for one person for this season.
  • When you book a tee time we require the following information:
    • The name of each player in the group.
    • Each person’s email and phone number (in most cases we will have this info if the players are members).
    • If you wish to reserve a cart.
  • Members are allowed to pre-reserve one tee time per day. Anyone who wishes to “replay” after their first round will be required to reserve a time to do so once they finish their first round. Please follow the same arrival procedures in place for the first tee time.
  • Please call us prior to arrival if you have any changes to make to your reservation such as player substitutions.

Arrival at the Course

  • Golfers will be asked to arrive no more than 45 minutes prior to their assigned tee time.
  • When you arrive at the course, you must check in with our Bag Drop staff in the parking lot. They will confirm your tee time, take your bag from your car and place it on a cart or riksha, clean your clubs (if you make the request), meet you at your parking spot, and remind you to check in at the Golf Shop prior to going to the first tee. Memberships must be paid prior to your first round, we can accept payment in the Golf Shop or you can pay online here.
  • If possible please park close to the others in your group. You must remain at your vehicle until we will send you down to the first tee when the starter is ready for you or we confirm there is a place for you on the range or practice green.
  • Our carts are equipped with dividers which must be used unless you are sharing a cart with someone from your same household or the person you are sharing with is in the same consistent small group of contacts. There is a maximum of two carts per group unless we have a person paired with you that you do not know; we will not require you to share a cart and will allow a third cart in the group.
  • At least one member of your group must check in at the Golf Shop prior to going to the first tee. Our Golf Shop staff will check you or your entire group in and give you a receipt for the starter. Masks must be worn when you are in the clubhouse except when eating and drinking.
  • If a player is late arriving at the course; we will direct them how to get to their group.
  • You must have a tee time reservation to be able to play.

Practice Range, Putting and Chipping Greens

  • If you wish to use any of the practice facilities (range or putting/chipping greens) you must check in with the bag drop staff to make sure there is an open space available for you to use.
  • You do not need a tee time to have access to the practice facilities, but you must still register with our Bag drop staff.
  • The practice and chipping green will have target pins without cups.
  • Our range balls are washed twice and sanitized prior to being put in a pyramid for use throughout the day.
  • Club washers and garbage cans will be available on the practice tee.

At the First Tee (play will only start at hole # 1)

  • The Starter will radio our bag drop staff when it is time to send a group to the first tee.
  • The Starter will ask for your Golf Shop receipt, provide a scorecard, pencil and tees upon request and explain if there are any abnormal conditions on the course.
  • Golfers will be reminded to keep safe physical distancing at all times. (2 meters)
  • Groups will be reminded they cannot join others groups during the round. If you start as a twosome, you are not permitted to join another twosome that may be ahead or behind you.

  • Our Player Assistant is on the course to oversee:
    • Pace of play.
    • Golfers are respecting physical distancing.
    • If any of our guidelines are being ignored you will be asked to leave the course.
  • Benches, club cleaners and garbage cans will be placed throughout the course. Rakes, divot mix boxes and ball washers are not permitted.
  • Bunkers are raked and prepared for play each morning but as the day goes along they may get play and are not as smooth as after they’ve been raked. We recommend you play preferred lie in a bunker.
  • Pins are to be left in the hole at all times, CPHO guidelines do not allow you to touch the pin. Here is a pic of the hole insert we will be using this season, the ball will not fall completely in the hole. Link to see it in action.

After the Round

  • Immediately following play, golfers will be asked to proceed to the cart return or parking area. Our bag drop staff will collect carts and rikshas from you. There are garbage cans at the cart return in the parking lot for you to put any trash you may have in your cart. All recyclables can stay in the cart.
  • Golfers will not be permitted to remain in the parking lot after the round.
